hookboard.co (the "Service") is operated by Skye Games (PTY) LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in South Africa. These terms govern your use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Hookboard is a visual board for planning ad creatives — organizing concepts, script sections, and graded variations on a canvas, with optional AI-assistant integration via MCP. We may change or add to the Service over time, and may discontinue features with reasonable notice.
You need an account to use Hookboard, created via our authentication provider, Clerk. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know if you suspect unauthorized access.
Paid plans are billed through Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, on the schedule and pricing shown at checkout — Paddle is the seller of record for these transactions and handles payment processing, tax, and refunds. Full details on cancellation and refunds are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms.
You own the ad ideas, scripts, notes, and everything else you create on your boards ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership over it. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — nothing more.
You're responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to anything you upload or reference (images, swipe links, copy, etc.). Don't use Hookboard to store or create content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates a third party's terms (e.g. ad platform policies).
Hookboard lets you optionally connect an AI assistant to read and write to your boards on your behalf, using a personal key you control and can revoke at any time. Actions that assistant takes using your key are treated as actions you took — we're not responsible for content an AI assistant adds, changes, or removes on your boards once you've connected it, and your use of that assistant is separately governed by its own provider's terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The Hookboard name, design, and underlying software are ours. These Terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond what's needed to use the Service normally.
You can stop using Hookboard and cancel your subscription at any time from Account & Billing. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, non-payment, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably possible.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost — keep your own copies of anything critical. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
